ThreeDify releases GeoMine-OreChaser ImpactEvaluator!

January 03, 2024 – Ottawa: ThreeDify is pleased to announce the general availability of GeoMine-OreChaser ImpactEvaluator.

GeoMine-OreChaser (OreChaser) is a drill hole planner and infill drilling plan optimizer for both open-pit and underground mines.  The previous version is comprised of two modules: OreChaser Planner and OreChaser Optimizer.

OreChaser Planner provides tools for manually creating planned drill holes in cross sections or in 3D and tools for batch mode creation of gridded drill holes in 3D, subject to topography and/or polygonal region constraint(s).

OreChaser Optimizer is a generative optimizer using Machine Learning that allows drill planners to determine the optimum number, positions, and lengths of additional drillholes required to maximize the resource uplift for a given drilling budget.

Neither of the two modules allows the user to evaluate the impact of manually planned drill holes on an existing drilling program.

Enter OreChaser ImpactEvaluator.

OreChaser ImpactEvaluator is a rapid analyzer and evaluator that enables drill planners to evaluate the impact of manually planned drill holes on an existing drilling program. The output of the ImpactEvaluator is the uplifted resource (ore tonnage and metal quantity) and the cost of each newly planned drill hole.
